Does anyone do cloth diapers?

Question

I’m very interested in going the cloth diaper route and wanted opinions and tips from parents who do use this method. 
My main concerns are poop diapers, cleaning the diapers, and how to keep dirty diapers before laundry day.

We do cloth diapers and cloth wipes. I have a spray bottle of wipe solution on the changing table, and just spray the wipe or baby's bottom to clean. For poop, we have a spray guard and a sprayer connected to the toilet. Just clip in the diaper and spray the poop off into the toilet. We keep the dirty diapers in a tall laundry basket with a pail liner. Wash every 3 days. I think that answered all your questions, but let me know if you have anymore! :)

I did cloth with my second, third is currently in cloth, and it’s all ready for my fourth!  
Breastfed poo doesn’t need spraying off but I did anyway because I didn’t like storing it with it until wash day.  
So I spray off poo, rinse the diaper really well (even just pee), then hang it over the side of the basket to dry.  Once it’s mostly dry, I drop it in the basket.  This is the most stink-free storage method imo but it’s definitely more work than necessary.
Definitely check your water hardness and make a wash routine accordingly.  That’s the best way to avoid any issues with your diapers like not getting clean enough or avoiding detergent build up.

We did cloth diapers and cloth wipes with our first for the majority of the time. We also have a sprayer attached to the sink so cleaning the diapers was really easy. Gall soap is perfect for the stains! We had a huge laundry bag with a zipper just for the diapers which kept all the odors inside.
This time around we decide which ones to use after the baby is born. Our first had a lot of allergy-related stomach issues, so thinking back now, 12 poop diapers a day with cloth diapers was just giving us sooo much extra work to an already stressing situation. If our second has the same issues, we might leave it this time. But if things work out better, I'm definitely willing to use cloth diapers again. 😍

I will be using cloth nappies but with biodegradable disposable liners. 
I don’t have a laundry day as I just wash when there is enough for a load so I reckon with a baby it will be pretty much everyday or every other day!

We use a bamboo liner inside the cloth diapers to lift the poo out and then soak the soiled diapers to minimize stains. Google “cloth diaper systems” to find blog posts written by other parents— there is lots of helpful advice Ava tricks out there!
