Guy acting like a jerk?!

So, there's this guy who constantly acts like a total jerk towards me for no apparent reason. I mean he literally has not spoken more than 3 sentences to me in one single day. All I've done is be nice to him and help him out, but he acts like I'm the last person he'd even want to talk to! And today,  I called his name to get his attention and he told me not to call him that although EVERYONE CALLS HIM THAT! Wtf?! When he said it I was so shocked that my eyes bucked lol! 😂 He said it like the devil had called his name! Anyway, I'm DEFINITELY not trying to become friends with him, because any chance of him ever becoming my friend after the way he's treated me is very very slim. But, what I'd like to know is what his problem is. He's just rude in general and to be honest it kind of disgusts me. Does anybody have any idea why he's treating me this way?
