Contraceptives after birth?
Im currently pregnant with my first and we don't plan on having children again for 5-6 years. The only problem is contraceptives haven't worked very well for us. Condoms are out of the question for multiple personal reasons (no, not that it "doesnt feel good") and hormonal birth controls have always affected me extremely negatively and was the reason I got pregnant. (I couldn't keep pills down/I was always sick on it, couldn't remember, ect.) I've tried multiple different pills and they've all affected me negatively. Im a little uncomfortable with things you always have to put "up there" for personal reasons and an iud scares me. Im also going to be breast feeding so I can't go on certain hormonal ones. We plan on using the pull out method and spermicidal lube. I've heard you can take the mini pill but haven't taken it before. Any recommendations for affective contraceptives? We're not in the place to have another baby
