Starting Our IVF Journey

Hi all!

After 10 plus years of TTC, my husband and I have decided to begin our IVF journey. I’m 37 and he’s 41, so we feel like it’s time to really make it happen. We’ve spent years trying to do it the conventional way and it just isn’t happening. So, we’ve made our first appointment with the specialist for May 3. I’m nervous. Excited. Scared. I’m trying to be optimistic but also not getting my hopes up. But my husband? He’s beyond excited. He’s hoping for multiples and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Any advice? Thoughts? Things to expect?
