Waxing for the first time.What to do?

I really want to try waxing completely down there but I'm unsure of the best way to do it? I've always shaved and don't know what to expect. I completely shaved yesterday, how long do I have to wait? Can I get it done at a salon or is it just as effective doing it at home? Thanks in advance

The first few times I'd go to a salon, then you learn what direction to do each area, and the hair grows back finer, first time is always the most painful. Then when you do it yourself it's not so bad.

I got a Brazilian done for the first time last week, honestly it hurt so much but it was all worth it. No dark root spots all over, don't have to worry about hair for at least 5 weeks. I wish I had got it done sooner!

I've always waxed myself, I was too scared to go to a salon & felt more comfortable at home. But I had to buy small and large strips and I still had to cut them so it would work. It hurts a bit. If you do it at home, make sure you apply pressure straight after you've ripped the wax off, that stops the sting. If you're too scared to do it yourself, get it done by a professional. they know what they're doing :)

I wouldn't do it at home ever. Find a clean place. Wear loose pants and clean cotton underwear. Take a Tylenol afterwards.

Definitely go to a salon
For at least the first five times.  Honestly it an area you can really wax yourself.  You have to use a mirror and its just really difficult. Its worth it to just pay a waxing technician to do it for you.  You're going to have to wait at least 2 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows
