Is it okay to not be in a relationship with a guy, yet have sex with them?

I just had a bitter breakup and I don't want to even think about being in a relationship, but I want to have 'relations' with a guy. Problem is that I've never done things with a guy who I wasn't dating and I feel like if I do, I'll become an emotional wreck.

I'd say it's your prerogative to do as you please and what you feel is right for you. Follow your woman's intuition- if you feel as if this will lead to more heart break, chances are it will. And realistically, deep down you must know that isn't for you, or you would have done it already.

The trick to having non relationship relations with men is to not let yourself get attached on an emotional level. If you just got out if a relationship and you're ready to venture out, go for it, be a woman. It's ok to explore with other people. You just gotta lay down the ground rules before hand, this is what is us, this is what it's not. Once you feel you're startin to get emotionally attached, either break it off before you get hurt, or find out if the feelings mutual. Either way, it's ok to have relations without the relationship.

If and only if you are sure that you will never have any emotional attachment to that guy and also if he respects and treats you very well. 
​But I think it's still better to look for the real thing instead of wasting time with FWB. A guy that doesn't want anything to do with you except sex doesn't worth your time.
​You can still buy some toys to get satisfied, or get a cat if needs company.

Dont do it it gets messy! Speaking from personal experience, I did this ended up having feelings for the guy and he wasn't interested. In the long run you just end up hurting more! :( x

I think it depends on the guy yu choose to have relations with and how yu feel about him.  I actually lost my vitginity to a friend I never dated and don't have any negative emotions attached.  The real questions are is it okay to you and how will you feel about it afterwards?
