Allergy to silver?

Is it possible to suddenly get allergic reactions to silver or certain metals during pregnancy?? My ring finger became itchy and had tiny bumps. So I'm just wondering... I would hate not being able to wear my wedding ring 😭💔

Some silvers have additives like nickel in it which is a common jewellery allergy.

My wedding bands are white gold. I can’t wear them while pregnant because I have a reaction. Only happens when I’m pregnant

Could be, or could be your soap or lotion getting trapped around the ring and causing a reaction. It happens to me even with my gold ring, especially when it's fitting a little snug, but it isn't actually the metal for me.

Typically not to silver, but if rhodium plated it’s possible. I’m allergic to many metals pregnant or not, rhodium nickel copper, I even turn gold black!
