HcG Teigger shot

So I received my first round of 10,000 HCG INJECTION on Friday April 16th. I had an ultrasound done that day and the doctor said I had two good size follicles on each ovary! I did clomid on day 5-9 with metformin and estrogen days the rest of the days until injection and two days after then started progesterone until future notice. My question is how do I know if it worked and did anyone have success on the first round with all I did? I did a test yesterday and it was positive immediately of course from the injection. Should I see the positive line get lighter if it didn’t work or how does that work as it starts to leave the system? TIA and I’ll keep praying we will have a healthy pregnancy this go round🙏
