Smaller testicle

My two year old has a Undescended testicle and it’s smaller than the other one I don’t know how much smaller they just said and what I could tell from the ultrasound it was smaller we got referred to a pediatric surgeon for a evaluation I know things like this are normal but the only thing that concerns me is the other testicle is so much smaller has anyone else been through this I just not sure would it means from the other testicle is smaller than the other?
