Implantation bleeding?

It’s been 12 days since my ovulation and three days before my period. I am experiencing a little blood in the morning, tiny drops. Throughout the day I’ll experience what feels like my period starting and some blood when I wipe, followed by none at all for 6 or so hours. This has been happening for 2 and a half days. Any idea if this is what implantation bleeding is? I also feel hot in temperature and minor cramping.

It seems like too much for implantation bleeding but way too light for a period.
