Strange doctor consult

So I saw a new doctor to get a repeated HCG. My last HCG was 63. I’m currently 4 weeks 4days. Anyway, I have been having lower back and pelvic cramps the past few days. The male doctor (who he stated as limited obstetric knowledge) seemed really concerned that I am having another early miscarriage! Simply because I said I have been having cramps. He said, ‘well did u have this with ur daughter’? (I have a healthy 4 year old daughter). I said no, but every pregnancy is different, and cramps could mean the uterus is adjusting right? He said, ‘majority of pregnancies with cramps end in miscarriages, if u had come to me without this symptom I wouldn’t be worried’. And he kept suggesting me to go to ED rather than just a normal HCG checkup! He was more concerned because I have had recurrent miscarriages that started with cramps similar to what I’m experiencing now, so he automatically thought ok this is another miscarriage then. I left the clinic feeling so worried and I don’t know what to think now.. I was feeling positive before I saw him but I’m not sure now 😔
