Help!!

My 20 month old is going through this uber clingy phase. She is ok when I drop her off at daycare and ok when I bring her home, but a lot of times when she is home she throws these massive temper tantrums when I walk away or won’t pick her up. It gets to be so overwhelming... is anyone else going through this? Any tips?

I’ve done the whole getting down to her level and letting her know I understand her feelings are big and try to talk it calmly with her, but she’ll just start crawling all over me, screaming and hitting. I’m at a loss.
