Spotting is normal, bleeding not so much. Bleeding is typically red though, I've never "bled" pink on periods or pregnant just spotted. This pregnancy I had pink spotting for a whole day followed by brown spotting once at 5 weeks then again at 8 weeks. Both incidents were preceded by a day of strenuous activity.
