Cassia: which pronunciation? *BOTH are “correct”*

For the first pronunciation, I like the NN potential “Sia”, but I dislike the NN “Cassie”, which seems like a likely eventuality...
And for the second pronunciation, I actually find the full name really beautiful but dislike NN “cash”. If we went with pronunciation 2 for the full name, could we sneak in “Sia” as a NN??

Why not just use Sia sonceyou seem to gravitate toward that ? No matter what pronunciation you choose, she will constantly be correcting people.

I've always pronounced it as Cah-SEE-ah in my head and I love that pronunciation. However I listened to an audio book and the main character was named Cassia but it was pronounced Cash-Uh. I didn't like it as much but I think it is the proper pronunciation. 🤷🏼‍♀️
