How long was your second labour?

My first labour was quite fast, 5 hours of contractions at home, got to the hospital at 10cm dilated then pushed for 1.5 hours and my baby boy was born. 
I’ve heard second labour can be faster? Is this true? I’d love to hear your birth stories. How long each labour was?

My first labor was 8 hours, but I’m not exactly sure when early labor started, it was hard to tell. My second labor was 22 hours

Mine was longer. My first labor was 2.5 hours and my second labor had to be induced and was 5 hours

I was induced with both of mine, 12 hours with my first and 10 hours with my second.

About 12 hours for my first and 4 hours for the second, like from whem I thought, this is it to delivery. Both times pretty smooth no complications.

All natural, med-free, spontaneous labors (and home births) for me. First was 31 hours of active labor and pushing (the last two hours). Baby was super low and I dilated quickly and then had a LONG stall, partly due to back labor because baby was sunny side up, but we made it through, healthy and happy on the other side. Second was 6 hours of active labor and pushing (2 contractions where my body pushed, but I didn’t assist it much though I tried 😂). Again, both happy and healthy on the other side. I’d love to redo that labor with baby 3 when he comes in August, but I’m sure this one will be unique in it’s own special way too.

I had a 3 hour labor from first contraction until birth with my first baby. My second was 4 hours total. I’m curious how this labor will be! I will say my second labor was totally different. I knew from the first contraction I was in active labor I was immediately in a ton of pain, I lost my mucus plug with blood and bam in labor instantly. The second time I woke up at 2:30 to an uncomfortable contraction and wasn’t even positive it was actual labor but we went in at 330 just to be safe in case it went faster than the first baby. I ended up being completely fine in between contractions and they weren’t super painful until the last 15 minutes before baby was born. Those 15 minutes were my “transition” and it was hell for the moment. I’d rather have a labor like that again! Lol
