My second little one has finally arrived and did so with maximum drama. You know those unrealistic birth scenes in the movies and TV series where the couple suddenly have to throw themselves in a taxi, the woman dramatically moaning in there, water breaking all over the backseat? Then when they get to the hospital the staff has to run out to meet up with a wheelchair and race them to a room where the woman proceeds to give two pushes and the baby is born. I’ve always rolled my eyes a bit at this kind of imagery. But you know what; this exact thing happened to me last night! I’m still kind of in shock as I’ve had several false alarms over the last week and been sent back home and was starting to think that induction was in the cards for me or it would never properly start. But probably that was why I was kind of stubbornly staying at home a bit too long creating all this drama. Baby and I are both fine after all though.
