Double stroller ?

We go out a lot and now we have a 4 year old and a 3 month old. My older one does get tired and sometimes even naps while we are out so she still uses the stroller. Right now I will babywear my baby when my older one is using the stroller, but we definitely need something else. Wondering if people prefer double stroller that has seats side by side or front and back? Im guessing the side by side stroller has trouble fitting in small aisles. Which stroller is better and any recommendations?

I personally make my 4 year old walk because she’s ...4 years old.... I would personally get a side by side for the both if it were me.

I wouldn’t do side by side because too many places have double doors that if you’re alone you cannot hold open both doors and maneuver stroller in. I did front to back double stroller but that’s because they’re 2 months and 17 months old. My older kids had to walk by four. The double stroller is too heavy and bulky for me to deal with for big kids that should walk. I’d only entertain the thought of using it at that age for somewhere like a theme park, not for shopping or even the zoo.

I think depends on where you live. If you’re just going out on walks in the neighborhood a side by side will work. If you’re in a city or somewhere where you need to go through doors then the side by side won’t fit all the time. I personally would get a convertible stroller that has attachments that make it go from one to two seats. This way when your child is older and doesn’t need a stroller anymore you won’t have to purchase a single stroller for your baby.

I have a one year old and not even pregnant (yet 🤞), but we thought about this when buying our stroller. We found a system on which the older kid can stand or sit which you click on to the stroller (the kid will be between you and the stroller). This way he doesn’t have to walk. He won’t be able to nap though

Oh I was curious about this too! I'm due in two months and my daughter will be 18 months old. I plan to put her in the stroller and use my baby carrier for my son. Eventually, we need a double stroller. I'm thinking side by side.
