Coworker told me her husband beats her...

First & foremost, I brought this situation to our store managers attention (he does come into the store to check on her a lot so I needed them to know this was happening anyway). I couldn’t NOT say anything about it. I refuse to stay silent about it because it is 150% UNACCEPTABLE for anyone to lay hands on another, especially your spouse.

But a coworker who recently started confided in me that her husband beats her. He’s broken her nose, she has scars that she showed me that were caused by him. He doesn’t allow her to have a key to the apartment they live in & will wait outside for HOURS to pick her up at the end of her shift.

I told her that his behavior was not okay & that I carry at all times & if she ever needed help, no matter what time it was, to call or text me.

What else can I do to support her or just show that there IS help out there? She has no family in this state besides her husband.
