would y’all think this is odd ?

i had a best friend from preschool-1st grade and we did EVERYTHING together. i went to his house all the time and he came to mine, our parents took us on vacation together, my sister was even friends with his older siblings. anyways, i ended up getting held back and we stopped hanging out and stopped talking completely because he was a grade ahead of me. we started following each other on instagram when we were around 18, haven’t talked or anything besides liking a few photos here and there.

my husband and i recently bought a new house and my parents brought me a few of my childhood stuff, i ended up finding a whole bunch of photos of him and i together from when we went to chuck e. cheese (we went every weekend lol) and a few vacation photos.

so i wanna know if it’d be weird if i sent him a few of the photos over instagram ? imo they’re really cute, we both lost our front teeth at the same time so there’s a few where we’re sticking french fries in our gaps and a lot of us hugging and just being kids.

my husband said it’d be weird because out of all the years we’ve followed each other neither of us reached out to talk to the other and he doesn’t think the guy would care about some random photos. tbh i think my husband is a little jealous because my mom told him me and the guy use to have pretend weddings and we’d say we were in love 😂😂. i’ve also already sent some photos of me and another friend back then but her and i were friends for a lot longer and there were a few of her mom (who sadly is no longer with us), my husband said that’s different because girls like stuff like that

so should i send them or do y’all think it’d be too odd ?
