Short naps?

Anyone else’s baby suddenly taking short naps? My little guy is 7 weeks old and for the last 2 weeks he’s having a lot of poor sleep throughout the day. I don’t want him to get overtired but I’m starting to get very overwhelmed, as I have a 2 year old as well. He sleeps great overnight but daytime’s been a struggle? Any tips? He was struggling to sleep in his crib for naps so I gave up on that for now. He seems to like motion so lately he’s been sleeping in the swing or being held. Any tips would be appreciated!

Same here!! He has slept through the night the last week but his naps are no longer than 15 minutes. It doesn’t help his 19 month old brother likes to wake him up 🙄. Yesterday I tried swaddling and putting him in the bassinet like nighttime but it was too difficult to do it with my toddler. I’m just hoping his sleep gets better on it’s own at this point.

We are going through the same issue. I carry him around in the kangaroo, but I'm afraid it would be the only way he would sleep then... But then, if he's awake I get nothing done :$

My son is 9 weeks and just went through that phase too. It only lasted a week maybe - a few days a refused to nap, the others he’d only nap maybe 5-15 minutes before he’d be up again and wanting to eat or be held. He wouldnt even hang out in his bouncer for longer than a few minutes and wanted to be held constantly when he was awake and so it was rough when he basically was refusing to sleep. He did sleep decently through the night but it was next to impossible to get stuff done during the day! Fortunately it passed on its own, though the last day I took him to see my family and I think he was exhausted after seeing so many people for the day. He got cranky from being so tired, but after that he went back to his normal sleep schedule.
