Hcg shot. What time should I administer it?

I have to give myself the HCG shot tomorrow. Doctor said that it doesn’t matter when I do it. What time did you give it to yourself? I was told to BD dance once before I give myself the shot and one more time the day after. Is that accurate?

Are you only doing TI? If so it truly doesn’t matter. I think I did mine around 8-9pm. You should ovulate around 36 hours. I always BD the night of shot and everyday for 3-4 days after just to be sure.

I assume you’re just doing timed intercourses? If the time of the shot mattered, your doctor would have clearly advised it. It’s supposed to trigger ovulation ~36hrs later (so this is the timing used for IUIs and IVFs, and doing it at the prescribed time is extremely important).
