Deciding to try breastfeeding again or not

Need some advice. I am 27 weeks pregnant and keep going back and fourth on wheather to breastfeed or not. I tried with my 2 yr old but wasn't successful. I breastfeed for almost a month but my nipples were cracked and bleeding. And it was so painful. Im sure she wasn't latched correctly. I have flatter nipples not inverted so I'm not sure if that was the issue or not. It is kinda discouraging me to even try again. I feel so guilty to not want to try again. TIA for any advice.
