Food poisoning while being pregant

I'm 6 weeks pregnant now and i know I have food poisoning from some bad shrimp that I ate. I've been vomiting everything that I eat and I also have watery diarrhea. I know that I may have a fever because I get super hot one minute and cold the next. Is it bad to get food poisoning while being pregant? Is this something I should call my doctor for or should I wait until it passes? Has anyone had food poisoning while being pregant?
