I’m trying not to freak out or worry....
So I’m 8 weeks pregnant this week and last week was my first OB appointment. I have a history or higher bp along with Hashimoto’s and PCOS. So my OB took bloodwork and an EKG to be on the safe side.
Turns out my thyroid levels were low and she increased my medicine. (All my other levels were normal). But today I got a call that said my EKG came back with a discrepancy and they’re referring me to a cardiologist. My blood pressure has been normal. The nurse said it was “nothing to worry about yet” but I’m trying to not freak out. Can someone explain to me why my EKG would be off and if I should worry?
