Amoxicillin

Has anyone ever had to take amoxicillin for a suspected kidney infection? I feel like she literally wasn’t convinced I had one. She said “I’ll just treat you for it” & prescribed me amoxicillin. I literally cannot sleep at night due to my back pain where my kidney is, I told her this too. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m annoyed lol. She did take a urine sample before I told her I think I have a kidney infection so, I’m not sure.

Should I have just went to a regular RN? She’s a prenatal nurse practitioner (who I see for my prenatal appointments) (I’m 26 weeks)
