How many weeks where you when your doctor scheduled your c section? My doctor seem to be taking forever and my job is pressuring me to find out the dates because they haven’t found anyone to cover my shifts while I’m out and my doctor wants me to wait to 36weeks to even talk about a date

Just booked mine last week and I’m 31 weeks. Scheduled for 39 weeks.

Schedule day and time at 28 week appointment.

My OB is scheduling mine now at 33 weeks. She said as close to 39 weeks as possible is better to avoid a possible NICU stay. Baby will be for sure more fully developed.

Mine got scheduled around 22 weeks, but that also might be because my boyfriends aunt works for me OB, and she scheduled it for us

If you don’t have any complications a scheduled C-section due to a previous c-section ￼should be at 39 weeks so can’t you just tell them you’re due date and figure a week or two before you’ll be out?

Also waiting around...I have another scan at 35 weeks to look at low lying placenta to determine c-section vs. vaginal delivery. I’m sort of worried that if it’s still close but has moved a little they’ll say “let’s look again next week” because they’ve been really non-committal so far. I’m 32 weeks.

I’m curious everyone’s reasons for knowing you’ll have a c-section so early? My doc wants me to try naturally first and only go to c-section if it isn’t going well.
