HG and when did your symptoms go away

Hi everyone!! i’m 13+1 weeks and i was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum and have been suffering from since about 5 weeks and having a hard time. I have been in the hospital 4 times because i couldn’t keep anything down and i also lost 25lbs. my mom had a similar pregnancy and said her vomiting and nausea went away in her second trimester around 14 weeks. I and HOPING so bad that i am lucky enough for mine to go away by then, i have noticed i do have good days now which i didn’t have before so it must be tapering. However, when i have my bad days it feels like i’m going backward. Anyways I guess i’m asking if anyone has had the same situation and their symptoms go away around 14 weeks - give me some hope i guess.
