Walking to induce labor ?

Does walking to induce labor work ? I just walked at a pretty good pace I walked 1.6 miles and don’t feel anything except tired lol 
What was your experience ?

I walked two miles on the treadmill, walked around outside for 4 hours, got two membrane sweeps, bounced on the yoga ball, and did prenatal inducing stretches and I had my boy one day before his due date. I feel like it’ll happen whenever it’s meant to happen no matter how you try to induce yourself

It will only help if your body is ready. I’d walk 3-5km almost daily, then the last few weeks I’d try further or quicker pace with my first & nothing. I even straight up ran & had to tackle my dog at 9m pregnant on a busy road because she somehow Houdini’d out of her harness & thought playing chicken would be a good idea, still nothing 😒😒😒
I tried EVERYTHING you can think of to induce with that kid 😂. Except castor oil because hell no would I put my child at risk. 
But basically unless you’re going to go into labour anyways, it won’t help. It’ll help once you’re IN labour, walking is very good for that.
