Is it wrong to only have one bf in life

Is it wrong to only date one guy in life. My bf and i are childhood sweethearts and have only ever been with each other for the past almost ten years. We’re not engaged yet but we say we’ll get married next year. I get that it’s “cute” as everyone says but do y’all think that’s fine. I get that it’s subject to opinion but i always wonder is it okay to settle on one person without knowing what else is out there like how am i supposed to know if our relationship is the way a relationship should be without any references what if i regret it when Im 30 it’s not that i don’t love him of course i do but what are your thoughts
