Trans Man Baby Shower Help?!

Hello folks 👋🏼 my name is Robin and I have been out as a trans man for almost 8 years now. I was going through HRT for about 2 years until I got into a car accident that led me into a bad depression. A couple months after that I found out I was pregnant with my fiancée. I believe my miscarriage was due to my body still adjusting back to estrogen and it was also my first pregnancy. It took 6 months for us to get pregnant again and I’m now currently 29 weeks 🥰 (baby is due July 31st!!)

My parents have always been iffy about the idea of their only daughter becoming a man. But it’s been a long journey to finally be accepted by them.... until we decided to tell them that we are pregnant.

My mother is very persistent that I wear a dress and go back to “living a normal life”. But me and hubby really want to wear a tux or go with something formal for our baby shower/gender reveal. I’m not sure what to do if a dress shirt unbuttoned by my belly would work out. I know this isn’t a well-known topic but in this day and age more and more men are becoming comfortable enough to get pregnant and be out and about living their lives. I could care less about the hate I get because this is between me and my baby daddy! And we are super happy with each other and starting a new life together. But seriously, what do you guys think I should do for a baby shower outfit!?
