Whats a babys normal weight?

Yesterday i went to take my baby for his 2 month check up, they told me he was over weight... he weighed 11.6 pounds and is 22 inches long... he eats every 3 hours 4 ounces they told me to have him eat every 4 hours how can i make him wait another hour? Sometimes i struggle to make him eat every 3 hours... advice please. Btw 1st time mommy.

Get a new doctor ASAP. Wtf is that nonsense. They’re a BABY. they’re growing and should be fed when they’re hungry!! My baby never could make it 4 hours without eating and he’s a healthy toddler now

My almost 8 month old weighed 13lbs 11oz at his 2 month appt. His doctor said his weight was normal. He's in the 90th percentile for weight.

That's ridiculous,  I wouldn't listen he doesn't eat that much my son eats 5-6 Oz every 2.5 hrs he's eaten like that since 2.5 m .

My son at his 2 month checkup weigh almost 14 pounds 25 inches long. He eats every 2-3 hours. His doctor said he looks amazing and is expected to be a bigger baby but no change to his diet.
