Does his ex still have feelings

My husband and I got married a couple weeks ago and he told me today he got a message from his abusive ex. She was severally abusive and ran his leg over with car at one point. I saw the texts and she had said "I wanted to congratulate you on your marriage." He said thx and she said that she also wanted to apologize for everything she put him through and that's she in therapy and she has no excuse for how abusive she was. He said it's okay and he forgives her. She texted "I really fucked you up... That was terrible of me to do to someone I love". He texted " I wouldn't say I'm too fucked up anymore thx to my wife. She has held me down and because of her I was able to get therapy and come out stronger". She says "Wow that's good. She's lucky to realize what she has.. I wish I did". He told her it's okay and " Honestly I'm on pretty lucky too. Probably more lucky then she is." She then asked him if they could meet up for coffee sometime to catch up and he said "I don't think I'll have time. I'm gonna be spending most of my time trying to get my wife pregnant and then there's being there for her during pregnancy and then parenting. I don't think I'll have time. But I'm glad you're doing well in therapy! Keep it up but I do have to go." That was all the short version of the conversation, but does it seem like she was trying to get back with him?
