IUI #6 - To medicate or not to medicate?? 5 failed medicated cycles 😩

Trying a 6th and final IUI before IVF. Partner and I are thinking about trying a natural cycle. 5 medicated cycles have failed so why not 🤷🏻‍♀️. What if meds are throwing off my body (I ovulate naturally). But of course I’m nervous and so I’m looking for opinions. Read a few studies that said natural works better for some, especially older women. Have a friend that tried 10+ IUIs and the only ones that worked were natural.

The facts:

- regular cycles, ovulate naturally

- Using donor sperm

- 1st natural IUI was successful, live birth

At 34 years old

- TTC #2 now 36 years old

- 5 failed medicated IUIs tried letrozole x2 and clomid x3 both with trigger. Was able to get 2 follicles with clomid.
