Progesterone question

Hey all. This cycle we did Clomid, trigger shot, IUI and today approx 8 DPO my doctor did progesterone blood work. My level was only 2.98 ng/ml. His office closed before I could call and ask what that means. He started me on progesterone supplements. I am just wondering... does this low number mean I didn’t ovulate? Or if I did ovulate does it mean that I probably won’t get or stay pregnant this cycle? Anyone with any similar experiences?? Kind of drowning in worry over here!!
