This is NOT the easy way out. I don't understand why people would say this. So, if you give birth vaginally, natural, you're "superior"? Thats screwed up, and definitely not the case.

So wrong! I delivered naturally, but I definitely don't think that is the superior option. Some women can't physically deliver naturally as hard as some try its not possible because of either the baby or theiybody just can't do it. Women should never be shamed for having a C-section or anything for that matter. Everyone is different so do what works for you. I know how it feels to be judged for not being able to do something that is the "right" way for my baby, (I could only breastfeed my bub for 4weeks and then it just wasn't working for her or me).  
I like the saying- Don't judge when you don't know the story.

Seriously!! I pity those kind of people who make these memes, you are superior for carrying a child, a friend said to me oh I am terrible with pain, but I don't want to have the epidural in case people think I took the easy way out! Firstly you have to endure that pain until you are ready for an epidural, and secondly no woman is better than another for the way they choose to deliver, some have a choice and some don't.

It's defiantly NOT the easy way out!! I have only had vaginal births and I fear a c-section....that's major freaking surgery!! You can bleed out and die.

Maybe the ones who say it are the ones against "elected" csections, as in they refuse to go into labor when their supposed to (and very well can without ANY issues)~~~Doing it for selfish reasons to get the baby out sooner, so they don't have to be "miserable" and carry full term (like they can indeed do but REFUSE to). Sometimes they even do it so their baby will have a certain birthday, astrological sign etc. Crazy!  Further, some do it as they also get a "tummy tuck" while they are "in there".

I'm totally 💯 against those .

I give props to a woman for vaginal births too!  Hell- you are  literally squeezing a human being the size of a watermelon out of a hole as big as a lemon😝

I have to have a c section bc of my vasa previa. Otherwise, my baby WILL die and I could hemmorhage. Whoever created this is a selfish ass. I would live to have tried for a vbac, but it wasn't in the cards. I choose a living baby.

It is definitely NOT. And things like this are hard to read for someone who had total plans of a natural, non medicated birth and things went awry. I was gung ho to do everything drug free and I just wasn't advancing and they had to get the baby out ASAP - v section for me :(  All that matters at that point is the safety of mom & baby. I'm at peace with my delivery, even though it wasn't what o hoped for. This angel is here safe & sound, 3 weeks old today - there is literally nothing else that is important

With my first I tried to push him out for almost two hours, doc said his head was just to big and if he did come out vaginally my pelvic bone would have scared his face. So she decided I had to have a c section. I'm now almost mine months with my sec and me and my doc plan to do vaginally.

I delivered my first in induction with no pain meds. Damn hard. My second was a c-section when his heart stopped, recovery was damn hard.

You should do what you are comfortable with. Period. Doesn't matter what your body can/ can't handle (unless it's fatal).
