Blood pressure medication
Has anyone been put on “labetalol” for gradation hypertension? I saw my high risk dr today for the first time and she put me on this medication I picked it up today and did some googling about side effects and effects on baby and I’m honestly pretty nervous about taking it. I plan on calling my regular ob tomorrow to see what she says as my blood pressure is managed with rest it is at a normal 120s when I’m resting but does tend to go up to 140 ish when I’m active. But does go down when I sit down and goes down within 10 min. However my regular ob said to watch for anything getting to 160 or 110 and my top number has only hit 155 once on a 98 degree day after being outside with my kiddos
Anyways
Has anyone actually taken this or on it now? How does it make you feel? I’m seeing only terrible reviews about dizziness shortness of breath tremors tingling all over your body and possible heart problems and chest pains. And for someone who has anxiety that does not sound like a great mix to be on the look out for.
