We live in Maryland and are originally from San Diego . We love our pitbull...how do you guys feel about them?

We’ve had our pitbull since she was 3 months old. She is now 8.5 years old. She is such a sweetheart. My 2 year old loves her so much. Anyway, we always have to do research to see if they have any pitbull bans wherever we are going (we are a military family) because there is no way I’m leaving my baby girl. 
So I’m just wondering how many of you are scared or against having pit bulls in your city.

We were told by three rental companies that our pit wouldn't be allowed. We stayed living with our families until we could find a place to allow our baby We have had her since she was born and she is 11months now she is a nursing dog to our son who is 4months old. We finally found a renter that would allow our baby girl to come with us and they do not act afraid of her

I love every dog as long as they are properly trained, which unfortunately a lot of owners neglect.

Even though I think races of dogs have predisposed characteristics, I believe the way they are trained or cared by their caretaker is what makes the biggest difference. 
My dog used to be wild as a baby but now he is the sweetest dog.

The brown dog on the left is a pit bull, the black dog on the right is a shepherd mix. The mix is much more aggressive (to other dogs) then the pit bull is. The pit bull is the happiest & most loving doggie ever. The mix . . . She can be rather bitchy 💜 like her mama lol

I don’t understand all these restrictions either. We currently have a German Shepherd puppy almost 11 months and it’s a struggle to find a place without restrictions on her breed. She is so friendly and loves everyone she meets. My family rescued a pit bull mix when I was young and she was a sweetheart, but I never had to worry when I took her for walks. My friend has a pit bull who is so sweet and gentle. How the dog is treated and trained makes a difference.

We had a pit bull mix we got as a puppy that was by far the sweetest and most affectionate dog we ever had.  He was also super gentle with our kids. 10/10 would recommend.

I think they're just big goofy idiots.
We've always had power breeds as pets. We've had Staffies, Alsations, Huskeys... One of the first dogs I remember us having was a Rottweiler x Doberman. Power breeds are hugely stereotyped.
We have a staffie x Pitbull (I know they're pretty similar breeds in general, she's Iike a pitbull and has the colouring of a red nose (her mom was a red nose). She's, to put it mildly, an idiot. She will show off socks and shoes to everyone and anyone... When we had our alarm installed I overheard the one guy making a comment about how she really loves her shoes 😂

This is my Tia baby (short for Tiana.. my step dad named her a Disney name to try to sway us into keeping her 🤪). Right before Covid all started Tia found us. We posted her picture all over social media and put posters out trying to reunite her with her owners. I didn’t want to get attached to her in the beginning, because I didn’t think my family would actually keep her and didn’t want to break my heart.. but I couldn’t not fall in love with her. She is the sweetest baby I have ever met. All she wants to do all the time is love every single person she meets. She is always so incredibly happy and good natured. I love her so so much and I’m so glad that she found us and picked us as her family ❤️🥰
