Induction

Hi everyone I’m getting induced at 37 weeks pregnant and I’m 35 weeks and I have an appointment coming up with my OB and my father wants to come and ask the doctor why I’m getting induced. I already told him that I’m getting induced because the baby weight is a little bit under 4 pounds and they don’t want him to get sick while in the womb. I personally don’t want my father to come to ask the OB to why I’m getting induced because it’s not sitting with him right. The OB even told me I won’t carry this baby to full term. Has anyone dealt which induction due to your baby’s weight being low?
