Long post...

So my man and I don’t have joint accounts. We’ve been talking about getting one but haven’t actually went down to the bank. We live together and have a child. We recently moved into a new house and he doesn’t know how to manage his money. He does get the bills paid but it’s always “i’ll get the rest at the end of the week so it’s okay if we spend it now.” So after him spending, he was left with a good amount of money for something we needed. I thought he sincerely didn’t have money anymore in his checking bc the house was an expense. I started paying for everything for 2 weeks straight bc I wanted him to save the money for the expense we needed. So I’ve been talking to him and mentioning that we need to go buy the appliance and recently noticed he’s been giving me the run around. So today I tell him “do you have the $ for the appliance we need? It’s a yes or no question” He says no I don’t. I tell him how much do you have? He says “$150.” So this man has spent $500 on i don’t know what because I was paying for literally everything. He just kept saying “we just spend money” and I told him “How?! I’ve been paying for everything?!” Then I told him, “I feel used man. I was paying for everything while you acted like you didn’t have money.”

Am I right for feeling this way?
