What can help start labour

Question

Am 38 weeks on Friday and I want to try and start labour. With my first he came 42 weeks and this time round I don’t wanna be late. With my first I didn’t try anything so this time round I will try anything

I tried the miles circuit videos on YouTube it’s like 3 positions you hold each for 30 minutes and supposedly it’s suppose to help baby get into position or if he/she is already in position and just needs a little push then it helps with that. I read all the comments and almost every one said it worked for them. They did it and then either hours later or the next day they went into labor. I made sure to watch the ones that were instructed by a doula. I tried it last night and will be repeating it today again along with bouncing on ball and walking around my neighborhood.

I think most of the advice is old wives tales, but they are always worth a try with caution.  I've heard walking in a way that moves your hips and gets baby into position, sex, spicy food, bouncing on a ball, there is a labor dance... Raspberry leaf tea is said to incuce labor, but from the studies it looks like it more prepares your body for labor (and in one study shorten the second phase by nearly 10 minutes).  Good luck!!

Following for any additional tips, I have been drinking red raspberry leaf tea since 32 weeks, eating dates and trying to sit/bounce/circle on an exercise ball(for some reason this is so hard for me to do consistently) at my 37 week appt last week I was maybe 1cm dilated but that’s it- so far nothing is working for me!
