Baby's gender means absolutely nothing in regards to labor and delivery. Every woman's body is different and every pregnancy is different.

With my first I had her at nearly 42 weeks. I went from being 120 pounds/5’7 to gaining a whopping 65 pounds omg. (I ate lots of in n out lmao) 
I had her after a 14 hour labor.
She was 8.7. The birth was horrendous and took forever to heal. I also bled for like 3 months straight after. I tore really bad too and my labia swelled up like a balloon for some reason and I couldn’t sit down after 😖
With my second, he came speedy quick at 37 weeks. I only gained 30 pounds, but I went vegetarian with him so I think that’s why lol
I had him within 12 hours.
It wasn’t as painful as my first and I healed super quick, because I didn’t tare.
With my third I had him at 39 weeks (a day after my husbands birthday yay) lol I also only gained 30 pounds. 
This was my longest births. I was in labor for over 24 hours lol he wanted his own birthday and really made me work hard. But when I pushed, I got to pull him out myself while watching in a mirror and it was amazing. I cried like a baby. Lol

My son came at 39 weeks - water broke on it's own, causing us to head for the hospital, then he decided it was too cold to leave, so pitocin helped speed him up. 13 hours later, he came screaming into the world, and he still does things in his own time frame.
My daughter arrived at 38 weeks, and heavy contractions sent us to the hospital. 3.3 hours after an epidural, my water broke on it's own, nurse checked and said "that's a whole lot of baby head - keep your legs closed til the doctor gets in here." She was born 30 minutes later, and has since sped through life.
