First time birth control

So I don't have money enough to buy the top notch birth control brand so I was given Trinessa. Has anyone tried this ? Or is on it ? Have you gotten pregnant on it ? Really bad side effects ? Sorry I just want to know if it's worth taking it or not. My boyfriend is pushing me to take it but I want to make sure it's trusted by other people first ..
