Long story, but one of my son’s eyes was moving outward when looking from far. The ophthalmologist had us patch his “good” eye to strengthen the weak eye.

Now, the “good” eye also started drifting outward.

Now my son has to wear glasses for what the ophthalmologist is calling mild astigmatism. The hope is that wearing glasses will help his eyes. Ultimately if this doesn’t work we’d have to do surgery around 4 years old.

Anyone has heard of success stories with astigmatism ? Or knowledge on astigmatism? Thank you!
