Due date changed?

As I was TTC I was tracking everything, so I'm 100% sure when my last period started/ended, my estimated due date was 17th December making me exactly 12weeks today, but I just had my first dating scan and baby's measuring 12 weeks and 5 days, making their due date 12th December... Where's the extra 5 days come from? 🤔
My last period started on the 12th March

It doesn't mean anything your due date doesn't changes unless the baby is measuring 14 or more days ahead it's normal for the baby to measure a few days ahead next time you go for a scan the baby can end up measuring behind it's normal your due date stays the same unless the baby is measuring 14 or more days ahead.

Either ovulation was off or implantation was different. It's very common for Edd to change after a dating scan. Using lmp is only accurate if you ovulated cd 14 and implanted 9 days later.

Doesnt really matter when ur period started what really determines it is when you ovulated and the embryo implanted. You just prob ovulated earlier.

5 days is within the margin of error for ultrasound dating. My OV doesn’t change your due date unless LMP and ultrasound off by more than a week.
