Anyone’s toddler STILL not talking much?

I’m beginning to get worried my son isn’t talking. He has said maybe 5 words but not consistently. It’s almost like he has his own form of communication through gestures. He can tell me exactly what he wants without even talking! Anyone else in a similar boat?

Sorry I don’t have any advice but I just think they’re all different, mine does not stop talking and can say 4-5 word sentences but we’ve never really focussed on teaching her anything really she’s just picked it up from us or from tv. She goes to nursery twice a week which I think is a great help tho

I thought this a while back and then I started making a list and realised there was more. No sentences here maybe 2 words together now.

Yes I’ve been counting the words she occasionally says as I hear them but no consistent words daily or 2 word sentences. Mostly no and animal noises

Same. And we’re even in speech therapy. Definitely get him in speech therapy. They will give you tips to get him to communicate. We’re working on signing
