Root canal while pregnant?

Hiii my beautiful mommasss!!!

So I've been dealing with this tooth for a while now and yesterday it broke while I was eating some caramel popcorn. I came to the dentist today and since I am in pain all the way to the right side of my head, they will be removing the nerve especially because I can't be drinking strong pain killers for it.

My question is... Have any of y'all have one before while pregnant? I am a little scared but I rather do it than be miserable until I give birth in October
