No Present from Bf

it was my birthday a couple weeks ago (i turned 22 my bf is 25) and i love my birthday and my boyfriend knows that. it was my first birthday as an official girlfriend so i was really excited to see what my boyfriend was gonna do since he knows how much i love celebrating birthdays. the time came and we had a little gathering at his place with me and a couple of friends and he surprised me by decorating with birthday stuff around the kitchen and he got me a card with a short sweet note. he mentioned the day before something like “i’m hoping your present comes in the mail in time for tomorrow but i’m sorry if it’s a day or two late!” i didn’t really care about the timing cuz he told me beforehand so i was excited that he put thought into it. it’s been about a month since my birthday and i still haven’t gotten anything… i feel upset but then i feel wrong for being upset because i don’t want to be ungrateful because he did decorate and put in effort that way but then his birthday is this month and yesterday he was telling me things that he wants for his birthday and he’s constantly showing me things that he’s bought for himself online the past couple weeks since my birthday… everytime he shows me something he bought online inside i think “okay you can buy that but you couldn’t buy me a birthday present” he definitely just told me that something was in the mail on my birthday to make it sound like he got me something but obviously didn’t. i’m just disappointed because 1. he knew i loved my birthday 2. why would he lie when he knew he didn’t get me anything 3. hes talking about what he wants for his birthday and i’m just like YOU DIDNT EVEN GET ME ANYTHING THO?? my feelings are hurt and i feel ungrateful for being upset because its just a stupid gift and i don’t expect people to spend money on me but like 🥺 hes my boyfriend and it was my birthday 🥺🥺🥺 i wanna say something but it’s such an awkward topic like tf am i supposed to say? “hey you never bought me anything for my birthday” like NO I AINT SAYING THAT BUT ALSO ITS BOTHERING ME SO MUCH SO I JUST NEED HELP HES SO GREAT AND HAS GOTTEN ME OTHER GIFTS IN THE PAST BUT THIS WAS MY BIRTHDAY AND OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY TOGETHER SOOOO
