How much is too much spit up?

My sweet boy was having a lot of trouble with pooping and spitting up about 2 weeks ago. The doctor suggested switching formulas to Soy. He’s currently one month and still really has just getting better with his poops. However, the spit up is really bad. He spits up SOO much, sometimes a little comes out mainly it like all comes back out and changing outfits about 7-8 times a day from spit up.

So I’ve been debating if it’s the soy formula or is it normal for that much spit up?
