Water at 6 months?

My LO just turned 6 months I got the okay to start baby food. But I’m just wondering about water. Should I be giving him little sips of water too? He has a pedi appointment next week but I wanted to see what people thought about it

At the beginning you give your baby just several spoons of food... and a lot of it lands on the bib anyway... so don't worry about digestion ;)
Water is in your milk and it's enough for the child.
However- it's a good idea to learn to drink water from a cup at one point so you can try and see if your child likes it. Just to create a habit...

You can offer water in sippy cups with solids/purées, but it’s not detrimental if you don’t.

They don’t really need it yet.
You could try a sip here and there, but it doesn’t need to be a regular part of their diet yet.
