27wks fFN test positive; painful low back & uterus

Writing to see what others have experienced with similar situations. I am 27 weeks 2 days along in my 2nd pregnancy. Today I woke to contractions, which were initially mild. They progressed to become painful and included extreme low back pain and upper thigh pain. I was admitted to labor and delivery where they administered a fFN test, which was positive. I’m only a fingertip dilated. My ultrasound looked good- good fluid levels and good cervix length. I’ll be continuously monitored overnight in the meantime. I was in a traumatic accident late last week, so I’m thinking this could all be related.
